Walsall returned to League Two action on Tuesday evening as they made their way to the Eco-Power Stadium and took on fellow title-chasers Doncaster Rovers in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
The home side opened the scoring with sixteen minutes on the clock as Luke Molyneux beat Sam Hornby at his near post with a low effort from outside the area.
Walsall levelled the scores just two minutes later after Oisin McEntee won the all back at the halfway line, before running the length of the half be and finishing Taylor Allen in space, the defender only too happy to head the ball home.
Rovers went back into the lead with just five minutes of normal time remaining, as second-half substitute Billy Sharp struck home from close range.
Walsall levelled once again just six minutes later as Danny Johnson came off the bench and headed his team back on level terms.
