There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.
Kobe Wilkes • Romulus
Kobe was named in the starting XI as Romulus took on Tividale at the Domino's Arena in Sutton Coldfield.
The first goal of the game went the way of the Roms as Ben Graham took advantage of some slack marking to head the ball into the back of goalkeeper Ethan Hawkes' goal.
Tristan Bennett doubled Romulus' lead midway through the first half, before Nathan Guest halved the lead nine minutes into the second-half.
Roms substitute Alfie Taylor made an immediate impact as he put the ball into the back of the net to make it 3-1 on the hour mark as hos side made it three wins in as many games.
Dylan Thomas • Redditch United
Dylan started as Redditch made their way to the MEL Group Stadium and took on AFC Sudbury in the Southern Premier Central.
There was little to separate the two sides, with the only goal of the game arriving with just six minutes of normal time remaining as Sudbury's Ryan Henshaw's header was just over the line.
Dylan was unlucky not to contribute a goal of his own, as he saw a goal-bound effort blocked when the Reds were on top of their opponents in the first-half.
