David Okagbue, Darius Lipsiuc, and Ronan Maher were named on the bench as Ireland U21s took on Scotland Under-21s in south-western Spain on Friday evening.
Okagbue had to be content with his place on the bench, but both Maher and Lipsiuc, who is yet to make an appearance for the Saddlers, were eventually introduced into the action in the second-half.
Ronan was the first to take to the field as he replaced Manchester United prospect Jack Moorhouse with sixty-three minutes on the clock, with Darius eventually replacing Southampton midfielder Joe O'Brien-Whitmarsh with just six minutes of normal time remaining.
Scotland's goals came via Kilmarnock striker Bobby Wales (5') and Celtic midfielder Jude Bonnar (77') as they eased to victory.
Ireland will next be in action on Monday evening when they take on Hungary.

Tommy Simkin was an unused substitute as France and England played out a high-scoring contest at the home of FC Lorient.
Taking the lead via Manchester City forward James McAtee (2'), the young Lions went on to concede three goals as Quentin Merlin (4') and Hugo Ekitiké (7', 35') gave their side a comfortable looking lead.
England stopped the rot eight minutes before the break as Liverpool attacker Harvey Elliott struck home before Ekitiké completed his hat trick ten minutes into the second-half.
Rayan Cherki completed the scoring with sixteen minutes of the game remaining, but the controversy didn't end there as Omari Hutchinson picked up a late red card as England finished the game with ten men.

Liam Gordon was named among the starting XI, provided an assist, and completed the full ninety minutes, as the Golden Jaguars defeated Guatemala 3-2 in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A hat-trick from Luton Town winger Isaiah Jones (5', 36', 56') was ultimately enough to seal a welcome win for Guyana, but they didn't have it all their own way.
The Golden Jaguars were pulled back to level terms by Municipal forward José Carlos Martínez (28') and saw their then two goal lead cut back to one when referee Iván Arcides Barton Cisneros awarded a late penalty that José Carlos Pinto (80') powerfully struck home.
