The former Saddler has passed away at the age of forty-five.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsWe are saddened to learn the former Walsall striker Tony Bedeau has died at the age of 45.

Born in Hammersmith on Saturday, 24th March 1979, Anthony Charles Osmond Bedeau was a product of both the Chelsea and Torquay United academy systems.

Beginning his professional career at Plainmoor in 1995, Tony went on to make over 330 appearances for the club over two spells.

After leaving Torquay in the summer of 2006, Tony signed for the Saddlers that May and went on to make twenty-four first-team appearances, scoring one goal - against Shrewsbury Town at Gay Meadow.

Ultimately spending part of his solo Saddlers season on loan to Bury, Tony rejoined Torquay United in June 2007 and also enjoyed a loan spell with Weymouth.

Bedeau's career came to an end with Kingstonian, but he will forever be associated with Torquay, the club where he spent much of his playing career.
