Walsall boss Mat Sadler spoke to members of the media shortly after his side made it four league games without a win.
Visiting the JobServe Community Stadium, the Saddlers opened the scoring in the second half via Charlie Lakin, but went on to allow Teddy Bishop and Owuru Edwards to score, with the home side taking all three points.
The result wasn't the only issue on the day, as defender Taylor Allen picked up a second yellow card late on, with the Cannock-born left-back later apologising for his conduct.
Speaking to George Bennett of the Express & Star, Sadler admitted it's up to him to help his team through the ongoing rough patch, he said: "That is my job and that's what I'll do.
"Because of us being us, we're maybe viewed differently in this division now.
"We have to rise to that, we have to forget that as well, and just play the game. Not got drawn into any emotions.
"Look, it's an emotional game, but not getting drawn into any emotions which affect decisions. We've just got to be us.
"We recognise who we are as a team, and we just have to be us."
