There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.
McLloyd Oben • Romulus
McLloyd was named on the bench as the Roms took on Highgate United in the Midland League, Premier Division.
Replacing George Elwell at the break, McLloyd couldn't guide this side to victory, as Highgate's first-half goal was enough to secure all three points.
Ronan Maher • Tamworth
Ronan started and scored as Tamworth made their way to Huish Park and took on Yeovil Town in the National League on Tuesday evening.
Scoring with twenty-eight minutes in the clock, Tom McGlinchey and Jordan Ponticelli combined to find Ronan in space as he tapped the ball home.
Sadly for RAM, his goal wasn't enough to take even a share of the spoils as the Glovers went on to net two of their own, with Charlie Cooper and Frank Nouble getting on the scoresheet.
Maher didn't complete the full game as he was replaced by Beck-Ray Enoru with around twenty minutes of normal time remaining.
