Following the news that he'd become the Saddlers' fifth singing of the January Transfer Window, Birmingham City midfielder Alfie Chang has admitted he can't wait to get going.22-year-old Chang has made just twenty-one first-team appearances since turning professional in 2021, suffered a serious knee injury in August 2023, but was able to return to action last month as a substitute during the Blues' Emirates FA Cup victory against Lincoln City.
Speaking via the club's official website, Alfie said: "I’m buzzing and really happy to be here.
"I’ve heard really good things from people I know that know the club well. The lads are doing really well in the league, so I just want to keep that going and help where I can.
"I’m aggressive defensively, I’ll press, but I’m also calm and composed on the ball. I want to get back to playing football and help the team push for promotion."
