Walsall Head Coach Mat Sadler and forward Nathan Lowe have been named Sky Bet League Two’s Manager of the Month and Player of the Month for December, respectively.
Sadler has been recognised after Walsall won all six of their league matches during the month, while Lowe has won the award on the back of scoring five goals and registering one assist during the final month of 2024.
Speaking via the club's official website, Sadler said: "It’s great to get recognition.
"Most importantly for the staff and my players for the work that they’ve put in, you want that to go noticed, so the recognition without question goes to everybody there.
"We’ve had a good month in December, we just want more."
Lowe, who has been a tremendous addition to the squad since arriving on loan from Championship outfit Stoke City, added: "I’m really happy.
"It’s a great achievement, and I’m appreciative that they have selected me from the shortlist and even to be put on the shortlist.
"I’m delighted and happy that I could help the team this month, it’s been a great month for all of us, and I’m sure you could have picked any Walsall player, but I’m fortunate that it’s me."
