There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.
George Barrett • Lye Town
-George was named in the starting eleven as Lye Town made their way to the Guardian Warehousing Arena on Noose Lane and took on Sporting Khalsa on Saturday afternoon.
Sadly for Lye, Joe Palmer's second-half goal was the only bright spot in an afternoon to forget, as a Simeon Cobourne brace and an Andre Landell hat-trick saw them secure all three points.
Jenson Kilroy • Hereford Pegasus
Henson started and kept a clean sheet as Pegasus played host to Fairford Town at the KDG Stadium.
Hereford secure the win via second-half goals from Will Dallaway and Zach Johnston as they returned to winning ways.
McLloyd Oben & Cayden Bennett • Romulus
McLloyd started and Cayden was named on the bench as the Roms took on Lichfield City in the Midland League, Premier Division at the Domino's Arena.
Goals from Jack Edwards and Jude Taylor gave the visitors a two-goal lead before Chris Uwabor halved the deficit late in the second-half, only for Taylor to re-establish City's two-goal advantage moments later.
Dylan Thomas • Redditch United
Dylan made his full debut on Saturday afternoon as Redditch were narrowly defeated 4-3 at home to Lowestoft Town.
Jack Kelly and former Walsall scholar Kyle Rowley, who headed home from a Thomas corner, had put United into a two-goal lead before goals from Joe Duffy and Gabriel Overton levelled the scores ahead of half-time.
Adi Yussuf put the home side back into the lead but goals from João Rangel and Owen Murphy secured the points for Lowestoft.
