Walsall's Sky Bet League Two clash with Cheltenham Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at the Robins' EV Charger Points Stadium.Due to kick-off at 12.30pm on Saturday afternoon, a pitch inspection was held on Friday afternoon with the EFL-appointed officials agreeing the pitch will be unplayable with temperatures expected to plunge overnight.
The frost covers have been on the playing surface since Thursday morning but as overnight temperatures are due to drop below freezing once again, it was deemed the pitch will not be playable in time for Saturday's scheduled kick-off.
