Walsall's Vertu Trophy, Round of 16 opponents have been confirmed following Tuesday evening's Round of 32 meeting between Peterborough United and Northampton Town.The Saddlers, who toped their group before knocking League One side Reading out at the Round if 32, will now take on Peterborough United, at London Road as goals from Ricky-Jade Jones, Ryan De Havilland, and Abraham Odoh saw them ease past the ten-man Cobblers.
Vertu Trophy Round of 16 ties are to take place during the week commencing Monday, 13th January 2025 and be broadcast live on Sky Sports+.
