The Club has issued an update on the health of Saddlers defender Harry Williams, who suffered a facial injury during Saturday's Emirates FA Cup — First Round win over Bolton Wanderers.
Replaced by returning club captain Donervon Daniels, Harry collided with the concrete hoardings at the Poundland Bescot Stadium and, despite being keen to carry on, was transported to hospital for treatment.
The defender has since been released and is at home recuperating. The club confirmed that he will now follow their concussion protocol as he works his way back to fitness.
Issued across the club's social media channels, the statement reads: We can confirm that defender Harry Williams has been released from hospital, with scans confirming no further internal damage.
The Club will now follow concussion protocol to ensure H gets the best care possible.
H would like to thank everyone for their well wishes & support shown.
