Following a two-week international break Walsall were back in Sky Bet League Two action on Saturday afternoon as they made their way to Plough Lane and took on AFC Wimbledon.
The first and only goal of the contest didn't arrive until the second half, when Nathan Lowe netted his eleventh all-competition goal of the campaign when he got on the end of an inviting David Okagbue cross to slot the ball over the line.
