George Barrett started as Lye Town made their way to the Sphinx Industrial Supplies Arena and took on Coventry Sphinx in the Northern League Midlands Division.

The first goal of the game went the way of the hosts as Jordan Hayward opened the scoring midway through the first-half.

Joe Palmer quickly levelled the scores for Lye before Lewis Wright put his team ahead before Dan Tozer doubled their lead in a busy opening half.

Roan Newey grabbed another goal of Sphinx, but that was the end of the scoring as Lye made their way home with all three points.

Jenson Kilroy started and secured a clean sheet as Hereford Pegasus defeated Cirencester Town at the KDG Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Harry Pitman and Jordan Williamson in either half proved to be enough to take the win for Hereford as they took the spoils.

Ronan Maher made his Tamworth debut, and completed the full ninety minutes, as they defeated Dagenham & Redbridge by two-goals-to-one at the Lamb.

Falling behind to Harry Phipps' first-half opener, two second-half goals from Dan Creaney saw them seal all three points.

Charlie Wragg started and played for just short of seventy minutes as Alvechurch defeated Bedford Town by a goal to nil in Tim Flowers' first outing as their manager.

Archie Crowther's first goal of the season, coming via a header off a well-placed Omari Sterling-James cross, was enough to seal the points at Lye Meadow.
