Walsall defender David Okagbue was named in the starting XI as Ireland Under-21s took on Sweden U21s in their second of two friendly clashes at the Marbella Football Centre in Spain.
After being an unused substitute as his side lost 2-0 on Thursday evening, David, who had been capped at Under-19 level, finally made his Under-21s debut as he formed part of a four-man backline.
Sunday afternoon's match was a high-scoring affair with Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Jamie Mullins, Watford winger Rocco Vata, and Portsmouth striker Mark O'Mahony all scoring for Ireland.
Sweden were also able to get among the goals with Peter Amoran (Perugia) and Lukas Björklund (Sønderjyske Fodbold) scoring after Ireland's first and third respectively.
A narrow win for Ireland as their players' focus now returns to domestic action ahead of next weekend's round of fixtures.
Congratulations, David!
