Walsall forward Douglas James-Taylor was in action on Sunday afternoon as Drogheda United defeated Derry City by two-goals-to-nil in the Sports Direct Men's FAI Cup Final.
The match, which took place at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, was a competitive affair that saw plenty of openings, but it was the Drogs who went on to lift the trophy.
Opening the scoring via Andy Quinn some seven minutes before the break, Drogheda were good value for their lead and went on to double their advantage in the second forty-five.
Not content with simply appearing in the match, Saddler DJT also made it onto the scoresheet as, after Conor Kane was felled inside the area, he stepped up and sent the 'keeper the wrong way from the spot.
Congratulations DJT and all at Drogheda United!
