Walsall FC, Goals Black Country Announce New Partnership

Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsThe Club has announced a new partnership with GOALS Black Country, which is located at St. Thomas More School, less than twenty minutes from the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

GOALS is home to small-sided football, and with their artificial surface, ProTurf; you’ll be playing as close to grass as you can get.

As part of the partnership, GOALS will become the Saddlers' Official Academy Training Partner, working with Academy Manager Rob Williams and the team over the course of the season.

Stuart Ratcliffe, General Manager of Goals Black Country, said: "We're delighted to welcome Walsall Football Club at Goals Black Country to be their Official Academy Training Partner.

"This is just the beginning of a fruitful partnership between a fantastic football club that thrives in promoting through youth football at our premium facilities.

"We look forward to welcoming the future stars of Walsall Football Club every week at their sessions!"

Rob Williams, added: "GOALS have been supporting us for a couple of seasons now and it is fantastic to be able to develop this link further by welcoming them as our Training Partner for the Academy.

"Access to their facility provides an opportunity for us to extend our practice provision, primarily for the U9 -U12 age groups.

"It also allows game opportunities for our Pre Academy & FDP age groups, which includes hosting the West Midlands Championships for 9s -11s.

"Thank you to Stuart and his team at Goals for their ongoing support and to Ben Sadler and Keira Webb at the club for helping us to bring this agreement together."
