Walsall returned to cup action on Tuesday evening as they welcomed Premier League Leicester City to WS1 for their clash in Round Three of the Carabao Cup.
After knocking higher-ranked opposition out of both Round One and Round Two, the Saddlers were looking to make it an unlikely hat-trick as the took on the one time Premier League champions in front of a bumper crowd.
The match then went to a penalty shoot out to decide who booked their place in the Fourth Round with Leicester City winning 0-3 as 'keeper Danny Ward made three superb saves.
