Walsall were back in League Two action on Saturday afternoon as they made their way to Stadium MK and took on Milton Keynes Dons as they looked to maintain their strong start to the new campaign.
The first and only goal of the game went to the home side as Callum Hendry hit the back of the net with eighteen minutes on the clock. A fine, sweeping attacking move to open the scoring as Walsall once again afforded their opponents too much space.
