Walsall boss Matt Sadler has spoken to the local press and issued an update on the injury status of three of his walking wounded.
"Josh, again, I don't think it's too bad so if not Saturday then hopefully the Saturday after. He's got an ongoing hamstring issue where he's really struggling with a soreness that's going down the back of it.
"We hope that it's neural and that it's not a tear. But on Saturday he felt that he had caught it before it went. So firstly that's good and now we need to settle it down and get to the root cause."
Defenders Oisin McEntee and Liam Gordon along with attacker Josh Gordon suffered issues during the Saddlers' win over Cheltenham Town at the weekend, with the gaffer hoping at least two of them will return to action very soon.
Sadler thinks Josh may be able to face Milton Keynes Dons this weekend with Liam Gordon potentially able to take on Bradford City the following Saturday, however Oisin McEntee could be set for a longer spell on the sidelines.
Speaking to George Bennett of the Express & Star, Sadler said: "Oisin has injured his calf. We're still not 100 percent on him. Definitely won't be Saturday.
"We haven't had the scan results back but his is the worst of the three. Liam obviously wouldn't have been available because he was away anyway, but I'd like to think he'll be back if not the next game then the one after that.
"He took a real bang and it's really swollen on his knee which hopefully isn't one where there's any significant damage but it's very sore.
