Douglas James-Taylor was the only Saddler in action this weekend as he started when Drogheda United played host to Derry City in the Irish Premier Division at Weavers Park on Friday evening.
Looking to improve their hopes of remaining in the league, the Drogs had to remain patient after the first-half concluded without a goal being scored.
However, thanks in part to DJT, Drogheda scored two of the second-half's three goals to take three crucial points as Frantz Pierrot bagged a brace beofre Andy Quinn put the ball into his own net to add some tension to the final stages of the game.
