Walsall have confirmed the signing of Stoke City striker Nathan Lowe, who arrives at the Poundland Bescot Stadium on a season-long loan.
"He’s a strong runner but he can also hold the ball up and he comes alive in the penalty area."
18-year-old Lowe is a product of the Everton and Stoke City academy systems and arrives in WS1 having already made seventeen all-competition appearances for the Potters.
An England Under-19 international, Nathan made his senior debut back in February 2023 and scored his first professional goal in September of the same year.
Along with a hatful of appearances and goals for Stoke's Under 21s and Under 18s teams, Lowe will provide yet more attacking power to the Saddlers, who have already added to their ranks with the recent arrival of West Brom man Reues Cleary.
Speaking via the club's official website, Head Coach Mat Sadler welcomed Nathan to the club, he said: "I’m really looking forward to working with Nathan. It’s been going on for a little while.
"It’s one I thought we had the week before the start of the season but unfortunately, Stoke picked up an injury so they couldn’t let him out at that time but they’ve been fantastic with us and kept us in the loop so we’re really thankful to them for allowing us to get this one done.

"In getting the deal over the line, I know we’ve had to compete with a lot of League One clubs that wanted to sign Nathan but our relationship with him, having Tommy with us, having Dave with us, it’s allowed us to jump ahead in the queue in that.
"He’s tasted the Championship and scored in the Championship.
