Walsall have been linked with a move for Loughgall striker Benjamin Magee, as Head Coach Mat Sadler looks to add to his somewhat slim attacking options.
Joined in the race by Irish League Champions Larne, the Saddlers are said to be keen to add the 22-year-old to their frontline as they look to continue their promising start to the season that has seen them keep two clean sheets in two league games whilst also progressing to the second round of the Carabao Cup.
Progressing through both the Glentoran and Ards Under-18s sides, Belfast-born Magee has also plied his trade with the likes of PSNI and Lisburn before making the move to Loughgall in August 2022 where he went on to win the Ulster Footballer of the Year award.
Magee, who penned a new contract in the summer of 2023, scored one of Loughgall's three goals in a comfortable win over Carrick Rangers at the weekend.
