Former Walsall defender Rollin Menayese has completed a free transfer to National League outfit Aldershot Town, marking his third spell with the club.
Rollin, who was among a handful of players to be released by the Saddlers last summer, spent a six-match spell on loan with the Shots last season, though was recalled as numbers in WS1 were somewhat slim.
Menayese began his career in Cardiff City’s youth set up, captaining the Bluebirds’ Under 18s side, but left the Bluebirds midway through the 2016/17 season, joining Weston-super-Mare, where he made twenty-two appearances before moving to Bristol Rovers in the summer of 2017.
The centre-half made a handful of appearances before he signed for Swindon Town on loan in 2018. During the 2018-19 season, Menayese enjoyed a loan spell at National League side Aldershot Town. His third season at the Memorial Stadium was where he made his breakthrough and became a regular in the side.
Rollin left Bristol Rovers on a permanent basis in July 2020 and joined Mansfield, who were then managed by his former boss Coughlan. Six months later, he was loaned out to Grimsby Town.
He featured 21 times for the Mariners and was a standout player in their squad though didn't join the Mariners on a permanent move as his next stop was Walsall and the Bescot Stadium.
Securing a permanent move after impressing on loan, Rollin made a total of forty-two first-team appearances for the Saddlers, whilst also enjoying loan stints with Hartlepool United, where he suffered a serious knee injury, and Aldershot.
After being recalled from his spell with the Shots, Rollin opened the scoring against Barrow - in a game that would end all-square - but didn't see his stay extended, leading to a summer-long search for a club.
Best of luck, Rollin!
