Walsall striker Danny Johnson has handed Head Coach Mat Sadler a small boost as he was able to take part in a light training session at the club's Essington Training Ground on Monday afternoon.Pictured across the club's social media channels, and in images you can see below, Danny can be seen interacting with his teammates as he looks to return to fitness following a neural infection.
Continuing on what is expected to be a lengthy road to recovery, DJ's return to light training is welcome news as the team has struggled to perform in front of goal throughout their pre-season campaign.
