Walsall have confirmed the permanent signing of striker Josh Gordon from League One club Burton Albion, with forward penning a two-year deal at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.Gordon is a more than familiar face in WS1 having spent three years at the club from 2018 to 2021 before returning on loan from the Brewers last season.
After leaving the Saddlers in 2021, he joined Barrow and enjoyed his best scoring campaign in the 2022/23 season as he netted fifteen times in League Two.
His performances for the Bluebirds caught the eye of Burton who he joined in the summer of 2023 but struggled for goals and assists before being sent to WS1 on loan.
Josh scored just one goal in forty-four appearances for Walsall and Burton Albion and will be hoping for a much better return when the new season gets underway.
