Walsall boss Mat Sadler has confirmed that Saturday's pre-season friendly against Tamworth will see a mix of first-team players and academy players travel to the CR MOT Community Stadium.
Sadler, who named a handful of trialists in his teams for the recent meetings with Alvechurch and Aston Villa, is keen to take a deeper look at some of the players already at his disposal, with the clash with the Lambs offering a perfect opportunity.
Speaking via the club's official website, Sadler said: "We’ll mix it up again against Tamworth.
"There’s clearly some lads that will need some more game time so we’ll have a real mix-up at it and see some other faces as well.
"We’re looking forward to the next one on the list."
