The Saddlers continued theor preparations for the 2024/25 League Two campaign on Tuesday afternoon as they took on Lincoln City in a behind closed doors friendly at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.
The Saddlers have already played three games this summer with meetings with Alvechurch, Aston Villa and Tamworth taking place over recent weeks.
Played during a particularly humid afternoon in WS1, the coaches sought to add some much-needed match minutes to their players as well as taking a look at a few potential formations, with the game ending 2-1 to the visitors.
Jovon Makama and Tom Bayliss gave Lincoln a commanding lead at half-time but the Saddlers improved in the second half and halved the deficit through Jamie Jellis, who added t his goals against Alvechurch and Tamworth.
