The Saddlers continued theor preparations for the 2024/25 League Two campaign on Tuesday afternoon as they took on Lincoln City in a behind closed doors friendly at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.Played during a particularly humid afternoon in WS1, the coaches sought to add some much-needed match minutes to their players as well as taking a look at a few potential formations, with the game ending 2-1 to the visitors.
Jovon Makama and Tom Bayliss gave Lincoln a commanding lead at half-time but the Saddlers improved in the second half and halved the deficit through Jamie Jellis, who added t his goals against Alvechurch and Tamworth.
