Walsall Set to Sign Cheltenham Town Goalkeeping Coach Dan Still

The Saddlers look set to announce the arrival of a new goalkeeping coach ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsWalsall are set to complete the signing of Cheltenham Town Academy Lead Goalkeeping Coach Dan Still, as fellow former Robin Dan Watson looks set to leave the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

Though not confirmed by either club as of writing, Cheltenham-facing journalist Jon Palmer recently hinted the move via X as he congratulated Still on his move to WS1.

Rumours of Dan Watson's departure have been swirling for the last few weeks with suggestions of budget cuts forcing several members of the club's backroom to find employment elsewhere.

Still's initial workload will be fairly light as the Saddlers only have former scholar George Barrett under contract as Owen Evans has been released, whilst Jackson Smith is yet to commit to a new contract with his current deal set to expire at the end of the month.
