Walsall boss Mat Sadler has spoken of his delight after securing the services of AFC Fylde defender Connor Barrett.
22-year-old Barrett, who has penned a three-year deal at the Poundland Bescot Stadium, is the Saddlers' first signing of the summer.
Connor is known for his blistering pace and can operate down the right wing, providing width and swift counter-attacking moves.
Speaking via the club's official website, Sadler said; "We're delighted to have secured the signature of Connor.
"He is someone we have kept an eye on for the last couple of months and we have been really impressed with him during his time with Fylde.
"His first season in the National League was a really good one for him with his return of goal contributions and he's another exciting young player that we have been able to add into the mix of what we already have here and I'm excited to see what he can do in a Saddlers shirt.
"I'm sure he's going to keep progressing with us and I’d like to thank everyone at the Club who has worked hard to get this deal over the line."
