Following the news that he'd become the Saddlers' first signing of the summer, defender Connor Barrett has spoken of his desire to prove his worth in front of the Saddlers faithful.
Joining on a three-year contract when his AFC Fylde deal expires at the end of the month, Barrett will offer plenty of pace down the wing, with the former Leicester City and Burnley youngster hoping to hit the ground running.
Speaking via the club's official website, Connor said: "I’m buzzing to be here.
"After speaking to people involved at the Club, it’s all been positive things so it’s the perfect place to be right now.

"I want to kick on from last year, I had a good year and I want to do better and hopefully we can do it together on the pitch and have some great moments together.
"All the conversations with the Head Coach were positive and I feel that under his management and his guidance, he’ll push me one step further."
