Following the news that he'd become the club's second signing of the summer, Charlie Lakin has welcomed the opportunity to move to the Poundland Bescot Stadium.
Lakin, who will join AFC Fylde defender Connor Barrett in making the move to WS1 this summer, joins from Burton Albion and adds to the Saddlers' midfield options.
Speaking via the club's official website, Charlie said: "I’m absolutely delighted. It’s been going on for quite a while so I’m happy to get it over the line.
"I’ve had quite a few loan spells in League Two so I know the league well and having that experience is only going to make me come here, hit the ground running and influence the team as much as possible.
"I did really well at Sutton and I want to carry that on straight into the start of this season.

"I like to get forward, get into those attacking positions but I also like to do the dirty work which I quite enjoy doing so I’m a box-to-box midfielder who likes to create things, score goals but I will help the team out defensively as well."
