The 2023/24 Sky Bet League Two Play-Off Final took place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon and saw Crawley Town and Crewe Alexandra battle it out for a place in League One.
With Crawley ultimately overcoming Crewe in the Final, it's the Railwaymen who will join Doncaster Rovers and Milton Keynes Dons, who also failed to make the most of their place in the Play-Offs, in League Two for at least another year.
After securing their best league finish since dropping to the fourth tier of English football at the end of the 2018/19 season, the Saddlers have plenty to build upon next season, though they'll not be the only ones looking for improvement in 2024.25.
Also remaining in League Two next season are, Barrow, Bradford City, AFC Wimbledon, Gillingham, Harrogate Town, Notts County, Morecambe, Tranmere Rovers, Accrington Stanley, Newport County, Swindon Town, Salford City, Grimsby Town, and Colchester United, who all failed to trouble either the upper or lower reaches of the table.
Coming up from the National League are Chesterfield, who secured their return to the EFL for the first time since 2018 in March, whilst Bromley grabbed their place via the Play-Offs, Solihull Moors being defeated in a post-match penalty shoot-out.
Meanwhile, coming down from League One will be, Cheltenham Town, Fleetwood Town, Port Vale, and Carlisle United, all of whom will be looking to make an immediate return to the third tier after a disappointing campaign.
