The Club has confirmed that striker Jamille Matt has put pen-to-paper on a new one-year contract at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.
34-year-old Matt initially moved to the club in January 2023 and has gone on to make fifty-three first-team appearances for his hometown side.
Speaking via the club's official website, Head Coach Mat Sadler admitted he is delighted to have Matt part of his squad once again next season, he said: "I’m delighted Jamille continues his journey with us and I think it’s a fantastic start to the additions that we want to make.
"The affect he has in the dressing room, the positive mentality that he pushes across the place coupled with how he can completely dominate defences meant that I wanted to tie him down with us as soon as I could.
"The way he occupies defences, I thought his display against Mansfield was a real turning point in his season and for him in his season with the way he dominated one of the best defences in the division that day showed everyone what Jamille is all about and we can look forward to more of those dominant performances throughout the season."
