Walsall avoided a second defeat in as many games on Tuesday evening as they and fellow promotion hopefully Barrow played out a one-all draw under the lights at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.
Making his return to the club after being recalled from a loan spell with Aldershot Town, defender Rollin Menayese opened the scoring with a header from a Taylor Allen corner, the centre-back returning to WS1 as Sadler continues to battle a defensive injury crisis.
Sadly for Rollin, his return wasn't the fairy tale he hoped it'd be as he went on to gift the visitors a leveller with a poorly-timed challenge on Emile Acquah, which afforded Dean Campbell a penalty, which he happily powered over the line.
Speaking to the assembled media, including the Express & Star, shortly after full-time, Sadler admitted he was proud of Rollin's efforts and believed the defender more than proved his worth, he said; "I decided after the game on Saturday.
"Clearly we're down to the bare bones in that area. To have five centre-backs missing and to still play so well and have the back-three that we have.
"I struggle to see too many squads that would be able to cope with that. Testament to the lads at the back there.
"It was mentally a tough ask for Rollin. I said to staff before the game that the first fifteen minutes we had to ride out because clearly there were new relationships with Rollin.
"I felt we did that really well. On a challenging night for him, I thought he really grew into it and I am gutted that it didn't result in a winning goal for him.
"However, I am so proud of him because that's a tough night for him that so fair play."
