Walsall were back in League Two action on Saturday afternoon as they made their way to the Bolt New Lawn and took on Forest Green Rovers.
The first goal of the game didn't arrive until the second half and it came via a familiar face as Emmanuel Osadebe poked the ball home from close range to give his relegation-threatened side a glimmer of hope in their battle to beat the drop.
Forest Green's second goal arrived via the spot as Sean McAllister slotted the ball home after Jackson Smith had been adjudged to have fouled Omotoye in the box, with referee Thomas Kirk pointing to the spot.
