Walsall boss Mat Sadler has once again praised his team as they made it five wins in as many games with an ultimately comfortable victory over Doncaster Rovers at the Bescot Stadium.
Goals from Josh Gordon, Jack Earing and Mo Faal saw the Saddlers move up to sixth in Sky Bet League Two, as their stellar run of form continued.
The visitors were able to find the back of the net themselves as Kyle Hurt initially levelled the scores but Walsall wanted to avoid simply a share of the spoils and wound up with all three points.
Speaking to the media, including Express & Star reporter George Bennett, shortly after full-time, Sadler insisted his players have really begun to trust each other, with the team not only able to cover for the recent loss of Freddie Draper but go on to thrive.
He said: "What we've got now is that real trust amongst each other of how good we know we are. That takes time.
"I spoke to you after January, deep down I knew there would be a little period of refining relationships again because we all knew Freddie's game and we all knew how to play with each other at that stage and that had taken time.
"It's taken a little bit of time with Josh and Mo as well but you can see that we are reaping the reward for that now.
"We all know what each other's game is and that's a really powerful place to be."
