Walsall boss Mat Sadler has praised his team for their overall performance, but admitted to being frustrated as they were held to a draw away to Gillingham on Saturday afternoon.
Speaking shortly after seeing the Saddlers let slip a one-nil lead to take a share of the spoils, the gaffer insisted his team proved they are capable of taking the game to teams but have to remain focussed until the full0time whistle.
Walsall went into the lead in the second-half as Isaac Hutchinson slotted home from the penalty spot only for the Gills to level via Conor Masterson later in the half.
Speaking to Express & Star reporter George Bennett, Sadler said: "I thought we were great today. Really, really good.
"We showed what a good team we are and we will continue to show what a good team we are.
"We silenced the crowd immediately and kept them quiet for the majority of it until the long throw kind of changed the complexion of the atmosphere around the place.
"Then we had to show a different side to ourselves. I was pleased with a lot of the performance today. A lot of dirty work and a lot of what goes unnoticed was done.
"I felt comfortable standing there for large portions of it, but naturally the long throw changes things. Lots of positives but we're obviously frustrated to concede."
