Walsall boss Mat Sadler sought to focus on the posities as his side were hed to a one-all draw by Crawley Town on Tuesday evening.
Arriving at the match on the back of a disappointing defeat to Newport County, the Saddlers were looking to return to winning ways as they made theor way to West Sussex.
However, despite taking the lead via Isaac Hutchinson's first-half penalty, they wento on to take just a share of the spoils as Liam Kelly helped the Red Devils avoid a fourth defeat on the bounce.
Speaking to Express & Star reporter George Bennett, Sadler said; "The resilience, the determination and the response from our lot, especially after Saturday, was what I expect from the group.
"We put a few wrongs from Saturday. There is always that period where you lose a game in that way, loads of things get said and you have to stand up and be counted.
"That's something I'll never be found wanting in my group. They came out fighting and they did their talking.
"Are we frustrated we didn't take the three points after going ahead? Yes but the resilience, determination and desire to make sure that we left with a point was there for everyone to see. We'll take that."
