Walsall have completed the loan signing of Norwich City defender Emmanuel Adegboyega, who will remain at Poundland Bescot Stadium until the end of the current campaign.
Born in Dundalk, Emmanuel made twenty-two first-team appearances for Drogheda last season, signing his first professional deal in 2022 after making the breakthrough from the Under-19s.
20-year-old Adegboyega joined the Canaries from Drogheda United last summer and is yet to make a first-team appearance for the club, though he has featured for their development side
Head Coach Mat Sadler admitted he's pleased to further boost his defensive options, speaking via the club's official website, Mat said; "We’re really pleased to have Emmanuel in the building.
"Manny is someone who we looked to sign at the start of the season before he made his move to Norwich so we’re pleased that we’ve now got the opportunity to take him on loan for the second half of the season.
"He brings competition for places in a back line that is doing really well at the moment but Manny will bring different skills and different abilities to that department. We are looking forward to working with him."
