Walsall boss Mat Sadler has sought to praise the opposition following the Saddlers' one-all draw with Sutton United on Saturday afternoon.
Going into the game in search of a fourth home win on the bounce, the Saddlers were left frustrated as relegation threatened Sutton were able to grab a welcome point in their battle to avoid the drop.
Taking the lead with eighteen minutes on the clock as Walsall captain Donervon Daniels opened his account for the season, the visitors were able to level the scores five minutes later with their skipper Craig Eastmond seeing an effort deflect into the back of the net.
Speaking to the assembled media, including George Bennett of the Express & Star, Sadler said; "You have to pay testament to the opposition.
"They're fighting for their lives and it's no coincidence when they do the same thing three times on the trot to kind of stifle the game.
"They've got some experienced players who know how to settle the game and I think that stopped us in our tracks a little bit.
"We're frustrated that we conceded after going ahead, frustrated with the manner of that and then just didn't quite have the final bit of quality to get our noses back in front."
