Walsall were back in action on Saturday afternoon as they played host to Sutton United in their latest outing of the 2023/24 League Two campaign.
The opening goal of the game went the way of the Saddlers, as captain Donervon Daniels opened his account for the season with a powerful finish into the top corner of the Sutton goal.
The visitors got themselves back on level terms just five minutes after the Saddlers' opener, as Craig Eastmond's heavily deflected effort found the back of Owen Evans' net.
