Walsall boss Mat Sadler has praised his side as they returned to winning ways at home to Crewe Alexandra on Boxing Day.
Goals from Freddie Draper and Oisin McEntee saw the Saddlers put their recent defeat to Accrington Stanley behind them and continue their recent spell of form.
Sadler, who has been able to guide his team away from any immediate danger over recent weeks, sought to praise his tea for their stamina as they worked their socks off for the full ninety-minutes.
Speaking to the assembled media, including the Express & Star, Sadler, who didn't make his first change until late in the second-half, said; "We're a fit group.
"Sometimes there's the tendency to want to change things for changing sake.
"I am not like that. I feel like if I need to change something then of course I will. But as I watched that game playing out, I saw no reason to change anything.
"That's credit to the lads because they are desperate and willing to work so, so hard every single day, and in every single game.
"They have to enjoy wins like today because they've earned it and they deserve it.".
