Walsall were back in league action on Saturday afternoon as they made their way to Meadow Lane and took on promotion-chasing Notts County.
Looking to rebound from their disappointing midweek draw with Alfreton Town in the FA Cup, the pressure was on as the Saddlers needed to take at least a point if they were to avoid their latest loss.
The first goal of the game went the way of the hosts as Aden Baldwin headed home a Jodi Jones cross with thirty-two minutes on the clock.
Walsall got themselves back on level terms with just over ten-minutes of the second half played as Oisin McEntee ended the Saddlers' goal drought when he powered a Liam Gordon cross into the back of the net.
Oisin was soon back on the scoresheet as he grabbed his and Walsall's second with a well-taken half-volley from an Isaac Hutchinson pass.
