Walsall defender Donervon Daniels and midfielder Brandon Comley were named in the starting eleven as Montserrat took on the Dominican Republic in the CONCACAF Nations League on Friday evening.
Placed in Group B of League B, Montserrat had already played four group games, picking up just one victory - a 3-2 triumph over table-toppers Barbados in game week one - as they sat third out of four in the table.
The match was a successful one for Montserrat as they secured just their second win of the group stage as goals from Dartford winger Brandon Barzey (37') and Fleetwood Town defender Kaleem Strawbridge-Simon (57') were enough to cancel out Edarlyn Reyes' late effort to secure three welcome points.
Both Donervon, who captained the side, and Brandon, who picked up a caution, played for the full ninety-minutes and will remain on international duty as Montserrat will next be in action on Monday evening as they take on Barbados in their final group game.
