With the draw for the Second Round (proper) of the 2023/24 Emirates FA Cup set to take place on Sunday, 5th November, we now know which ball represents the Saddlers.
After avoiding a potential banana skin in the form of non-league Sheppey Town in front of the ITV cameras on Friday evening, Walsall, who will take ball number 22 in the draw, will be hoping for a similar result in the next round.
The draw will take place in between the meeting between Chesterfield and Portsmouth, which takes place live on ITV1 at 12.15pm, and ahead of Crewe Alexandra's clash with Derby County, which will be shown on ITVX from 2.45pm.
Fixtures in the Second Round proper will be held between Friday, 1st, and Monday, 4th December, with clubs at this stage picking up £67,000 from the competition's prize fund.
