Walsall FC has confirmed that defender Oisin McEntee has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2025.
22-year-old McEntee has made twenty-first-team appearances so far this season, and has earned the respect of fans and players alike.
A former Ireland youth international, Oisin has scored three times during his time in WS1, time that began in May 2022 as he arrived on a free transfer from Newcastle United.
Speaking via the club's official website, McEntee admitted he was delighted to pen fresh terms, he said; "I’m delighted to finally get it over the line. I love it here at the club, in and around the training ground.
"The support from the fans has been brilliant. I have a gaffer who believes in me, I love going into training every day, all the boys get along and it’s the happiest I’ve been in football in a long time.
"I just want to kick on from where I am now, I just want to play every game that I can, get on the scoresheet, get some wins and get us as high up the table as we can."
