Walsall midfielder Jack Earing is set to make a return to football as he is expected to be named in the Saddlers XI to take on Tividale in the Birmingham Senior Cup on Tuesday evening.Earing, who last played in a 2-1 triumph over Mansfield Town on New Year's Day, has been sidelined with a serious knee injury but is finally nearing a return to first-team affairs.
Saddlers boss Mat Sadler recently confirmed plans for Earing, with the gaffer confirming to Express & Star reporter George Bennett, "Jack will play in the Birmingham Senior Cup on Tuesday. That's the next part of his recovery to play in a game."
The meeting with Tividale, which is in the Second Round of the Senior Cup, is scheduled to take place at The Beeches ground with a 7.45pm kick-off.
