Walsall boss Mat Sadler has offered an update on the injury status of defender, Priestley Farquharson, who has missed the last few weeks of action.
Farquharson, a summer signing who joined the club after leaving Newport County at the end of last season, has made just four first-team appearances in a Walsall shirt as injury has seen him struggle for fitness.
Sadler, who was talking to the media shortly after the Saddlers' narrow defeat to Mansfield Town, admitted it has been a frustrating time for all involved, with there being no timeframe for Priestley's return to action.
When asked about a potential return to action, Sadler, who was speaking to Express & Star reporter George Bennett, said; "I don’t know.
"Priestley’s injury has been frustrating and he just can’t seem to get any good luck with it. We really want him back but he can’t seem to shake it at the moment.
"So, we keep working with him. There isn’t a time frame at the minute. We just keep working day by day with it."
