Walsall Head Coach Mat Sadler has sought to praise his side following their welcome win over title-chasing Gillingham on Saturday afternoon.
An Isaac Hutchinson hat-trick, coupled with Freddie Draper's single strike saw the Saddlers bounce back from last weekend's disappointing defeat to Sutton United in some style.
Though Macauley Bonne gave the visiting Gills some hope in the second-half, the Saddlers stood firm and took three well-deserved points, though Sadler is determined not to get carried away.
Speaking to the assembled media, including the Express & Star, Mat said; "They are still finding that belief of how good they can be and how good they are because they are a young group.
"With young groups, sometimes it's been when we go and press, when the triggers are, which I thought for the opening 10 minutes of the game, I thought they could've got into that pocket too many times.
"But they worked it out on the pitch. They are desperate to do well and they desperate to do well. Gillingham are a good team with some fantastic players."
